Tutor Office
The SSP Tutor Office offers a host of resources for secondary school students enrolled in the summer school. Our tutors are full-time students or alumni of Harvard College who are available each day to assist students with both specific content and general concept questions regarding the material covered in their classes.
Each tutor holds regularly scheduled weekly walk-in office hours as well as scheduled individual sessions. In addition to these direct services, the SSP Tutor Office also coordinates study group meetings and provides students with a variety of resources. These include study, reading, and writing guidance; suggestions for taking advantage of the variety of academic resources at Harvard; and advice on adjusting to the college's academic expectations.
Starting the second week of classes, each SSP student is assigned a tutor for each of their classes, with whom they can arrange a personalized program to support their own academic needs. Please send questions to rsinnott@fas.harvard.edu.
